Version 3Dr Liversedge was a student at the University of Leeds school of medicine. He graduated in 2000 (MBChB) and during his time at Leeds he also gained an honours degree in anatomy.

His anaesthetic training was based at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London and he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2007.

Dr Liversedge is a consultant paediatric anaesthetist at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Portland Hospital, in London. He has set-up and led the anaesthetic pre-operative assessment clinic at Great Ormond Street Hospital and been instrumental in implementing an enterprise wide electronic record keeping system in the hospital. He is currently chief of service for the core clinical services directorate at Great Ormond Street.

Areas of clinical expertise include anaesthesia for babies and children having ear, nose and throat surgery, plastic surgery, eye surgery and neurosurgery. He has an interest in digital healthcare and teaching with high fidelity simulation and is a member of the faculty of clinical informatics.


Tim is married with two children and when not at work, is kept busy and happy with his young family.
