Dr Liversedge was a student at the University of Leeds school of medicine. He graduated in 2000 (MBChB) and during his time at Leeds he also gained an honours degree in anatomy.
His anaesthetic training was based at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London and he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2007.
Dr Liversedge is a consultant paediatric anaesthetist at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Portland Hospital, in London. He has set-up and led the anaesthetic pre-operative assessment clinic at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In addition to his clinical activity he is deputy Chief of Service and a medical informatics officer.
His areas of special expertise include anaesthesia for babies and children having ear, nose and throat surgery, plastic surgery, eye surgery and neurosurgery. He has an interest in digital healthcare and teaching with high fidelity simulation and is a member of the faculty of clinical informatics.
